I try to install the new radio, when I unplug it I make a mistake to touch the remote wire to the ground (of radio). By inspection, I knew that the power of that wire is disappear; there was only 3.5 Volt only, its must have 12 V to order to run ( to open the power of radio). I also check all fusses are fine. Does any one know what is happening? I have Civic 93 4 doors .Thaaaank !!

if there was no power to the unit, then technically the remote touching ground shouldnt have done anything, at most a fuse if connected, but those are ok, chek ur wiring, i have had little issues of remote wires only my switch

Thank Jayman !

I have the voltage meter, so I turned on the key and check the remote wire from the ignition; there is about 3.5 volt (it must have 12 Volt to order to turn on the radio). I checked all fusses were good. Do you know that beside the fuse, it’s anything wrong with this? Thanks!

what did you hook up the remote wire to??? did you buy a harness or just splice the wires?
