Street Sniper

So I’m running an errand today and doing the speed limit. A black 2003ish Nissan Maxima SE passes me rather nonchalantly and I give a look over just to see who’s driving. It’s a younger guy with the stereo going pretty good. Of course the light we are approaching turns red and he gets there first. I stop short and inch him a little; not on purpose, I just didn’t like where I was. I realized that he assumed I was staging him when he turned the radio down. Whatever. We roll out at green just to see if the other is gonna go, and we both did. It was pretty even through 1st, but as soon as the Supercharger started to whine in 2nd I started stretching him. I hit 3rd and he was fading past my quarter panel. That’s when he realized it was over and backed off.
When he caught back up he was smiling and gave me a nod. Later dude. Little did he know that he’s going down in history as Sniper’s 1st confirmed kill.
I didn't think it should have been so close until I saw that the SE's run in the high 14's.
