I just put in a stage 3 ACT clutch and aluminum fly wheel about 5 months ago, If the clutch burns out does it ALWAYS make the clutch pedal fall to the floor? B/c my civic starts but it won't go into to gear. thanks

Thats a sign of the clutch slipping. ...but what do you mean by "clutch falling to the floor" ?? What you are describing doesn't sound like a burnt clutch to me.... -Trevor sacicons 08-16-2004, 04:33 PM yeah, this doesnt sound like a worn clutch, esp. since the clutch is new. it sounds like a leak somewhere in the system. fill up the clutch fluid resevoir, then pull the pedal up and watch the fluid lines and cylinders for leaks as someone pushes the pedal for you. |
