EG Swaps - what is the jdm d16z6?

what is the jdm equivilent(sp) of the d16z6 is it the d15b sohc vtec or the 92-95 zc because i see on ebay they are saying both are the equvilent. i am wondering cuz i want to do an affordable swap with something just a little more speedy im not a speed freak so im not lookin into a b18 or anything but i cant afford a b16a2 cuz me and my girl just bought an 02 impreza. so im strapped for cash. thanx

dude if i were you since this is for the 5gen civic just get the d16z6 because that motor came from that generation. the difference between the d15b and the d16z6 is that the d15b is 1.5 liters and also she a lil more hp. the d16z6 is 1.6liters and is 2 hp less the d15b

im pretty sure the d16z6 and the zc are equivalent, the jdm d15b is differnt in some ways that i can't remember, it will be easier to find parts for a d16z6 than it would a jdm d15b, so go with the z6
