I suppose it's doable when I get a sponsor and they get me a trailer and travel funds.

'run what you brung' is what the guys say who have never broken anything at the track...
it is also very poor grammar.
when i ran the small national circuit, i trailered the car everywhere, because some of the events were 8-9 hours away...

Yeah, and racin' is all redneck and stuff so you gotta say brung.
Even though it is my daily driver, I just don't know about racing it on the tail end of a 31 hour drive.
And I would be "brungin" it.

oh i know. its all good. my skins thicker than that anyway:D but i would consider trailering my car if nothing else so i could get the suspension settings the way i want them, and not kill a set of tires on the way down, a set while im there, and another set on the way back[&:]

i know a guy that lives near one of the tracks where i drag race...mind you, he lives in ohio, and they dont have inspection and you can run open headers there..but he has a 1970 duster...that runs high 9s...full bodied car...slicks, open headers, so on...
he drives it to the track, runs 9s..and drives it home...on the other hand, where i used to live, i was in between 2 tracks, about 2 hours from each...and once i had to leave my car at track, find a ride home, then find a trailer and go back and get my car...3 days later, which was the next time that the track was open...never again.

yeah trailering has got to have its advantages. i personnally witnessed one of my partners snap BOTH of his cv's on his teggy, (i posted about this when i first joined HCF), and we werent even at the track. so its not a bad idea to atleast have someone that has a truck and a good tow-rope follow you.
