Default Sound Stops Working

I have a 2007 Honda Civic EX with premimum sound system with the built in navigation.

When I first start my car the audio from the factory stereo works fine then shortly after (approximately 10 - 15 minutes) the audio stops working and will not come back on.

This has been going on for months now and for the most part follows this routine although sometimes the audio will not work at all when first starting up.

So far for troubleshooting I have checked all connections (removed and reconnected) all seem secure. I also replaced the battery. I have tried removing one wire harness at a time and drive for a couple days to rule out possibilities.

Any ideas on what could be a possible issue or things to check?

If you have eliminated any speaker wire as shorting, and loose grounds and power, then it's most likely a ship inside the head unit that is shutting down when it gets hot. Probably time to replace the head unit.
(if the car has a seperate amp, that is a completely different issue)
