Oh now I see what you're talking about... you should take a little more time and re apply the felt so it doesnt look so home made... while you're at it, felt the whole trunk or just clean out all that junk you got!!!

Addiction2... you really have to explain to me how you did that! That really looks awesome... How does it hit without a box around it? Does it even matter to have a box around it? You really should do a quick DIY and post it up because I might apply that bass idea to a different car or try it on some of my friends' cars...

well i posted my build thread with pleanty of pictures
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_27..._1/key_/tm.htm

main reason for sealing off the trunk and firing the sub into the cabin is to precent trunk rattling.....
only downfall is you do hear every note from the sub.... so every even bad note you also hear.... but its not to bad realy.....
having little to no trunk rattling was well worth it to me!
nothing worse than a nice sounding system and a horible trunk rattling from the rear.LOL

its a port.... ported boxes are always louder than sealed boxes
tho the boxes usualy have to be twice the size of a sealed box... only downfall! and ya still have to worry about the ports displacement also...
