Default no spark from coil ?

Have an 84 hatch with starting problem. Quit one day , restarted later. Ran fine next day , then no start. New ign module, cap, rotor and is getting fuel. Has power on terminals at coil and ign mod posts but no spark at plugs. I can't seem to get spark from coil to dist cap ? coil tested good. All grounds are clean and fuses are good. it has a mechanical fuel pump on engine. Im stumped ???? engine has 50,000 ish miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'd double check all the wiring and connections inside the distributor. Also, have you done the coil tests shown below? If all seems fine, then you may want to check whether the timing belt snapped.

i would also look into maybe replacing the ignition control module...i've had them go bad and the same problems happen to me.

I've had problems with the ignitors also. The cars would run fine when it's cold, as soon as it hits a certain temp it will shut down. Then restart after cool down again. It's located inside the distibutor, kinda buried but not really hard to get to.
