unplug neg on battery for 2-3 mins
 unplug the ecu 2-3 mins
pull emergency flasher fuse 2-3 mins
stop at autozone and have them erase your codes.

I just disconnect the battery, then push on the horn, turn lights on for a few seconds then reconnect battery. ECU is reset. Any recurring problems will trigger the CEL.
