TPS Sensor

TPS Sensor
Is there such thing as an aftermarket performance Throttle Position Sensor for a D16z6? After installing my skunk2 manifold and a 68mm TB, my idle is kinda kookie. Some times it goes up and down like a 1000 rpms constantly, most of the time the rpm's move up and down like 20-50 rpms. The guy that installed the stuff said that the TPS sensor is causing the bad idle. Does any one have any idea if it really is a bad sensor. The sensor worked fine on the stock set up, but the new set up may be too big for it to handle.

RE: TPS Sensor
to test the sensor... you take a volt meter and packprobe the sensor... move it between full and closed throtle and if should evenly change in voltage beween 0 and 4 volts (i think) the best thing to use is a labscope, but not many people have those. if it skips a point or jumps. then its the tps.

RE: TPS Sensor
it may be the throttle body. check to see if the butterfly valve seems to wiggle or have play in it. if it does, then it is probably vibrating which will cause the TPS it is attached to to send an erratic signal to the computer.
