Default D16A motor

i know i want to do a swap, now i'm just deciding which motor to choose. I was just wondering if anyone how avaible D16A motors are. And if so, is it a difficult swap into a 92 LX.
Thanks

Which D16A are you talking about. There are 3 different ones and non of them are the same as the D16Y7

D16A1 1.6 L DOHC 86-89 Integra 86/87 113hp 88/89 118hp

D16A6 1.6L SOHC 88-91 Civic Si/ CRX Si 108hp

ZC JDM equivalent of D16A1 130ps

I'm talking about the D16A1 from the 86-89 integra. I just wanted to know how available this motor is and if its an easy or difficult swap into a 92 LX.

Not really worth it IMO, you can get a JDM D15B swap for under $1000 and that includes a lsd tranny and it has 130hp. Not to mention IMO and alot of other real D series enthusiest it is by far 1 of the 3 best d series out there.

1 JDM D15B
2 D16Z6
3 D16Y8

The D16A's are great to source parts from to put into other D seriers to make good power but alone they IMO are lack luster

Thank you very much md420. I just wanted to know because i heard that the D16A has really a lot of potential. I've moved one from that and i'm heading toward the B18C.
