^ A K20 isn't cheaper to swap in than an H22. For the most part, you're going to pay as much for the K20 long block, trans, and PCM as you would for an entire H22 swap (assuming you do the swap yourself). I guess it depends on what deals you get, though... back in Wyotech a student was selling a K20A3 long block, trans, and PCM for like $350 just to get rid of it (he swapped in a K20A2). If I still had a civic at the time, I would've scooped it up in a heartbeat.
Anyway, 300km/tank is definitely low. Has the fuel filter been changed? As a rule of thumb, you should be seeing about the same fuel economy as a prelude. Is it running rich?

lol yeah, sleep is always a good thing. Don't forget that to get a K20 into an EG you need "custom" swap mounts.... also, since it uses a cable shifter (same as an H), you need to cut up the floor pan under the center console a little bit.

what ever negative opinions you hear from the h22 swap in a civic are not true it is more work but it is worth it. you will be doing 13s in daily driven car, because it is a daily driver.what ever these other guys had told you is not true because they have never done this swap. i have read some stupid coments froms other people that have not done the swap and they think they know but they dont know whats up.I have a hatch with h22 and it moves. if u have any type of questions e-mail me back.

Just realize you posted in a thread that has been dead for almost 4 years, asking someone who hasn't signed on since 2005 a question. I wouldn't expect an answer from him. The information is out there, have you done any research?
