Another thread about a turbo B20?

Research. "Stages" are dependent upon the manufacturer and technically mean nothing.

How are we going to give you suggestions on parts when we don't know your power goals? Or are they still at the ridiculous numbers of 500whp/800wtq?

No, i want to build a turbo build with close to 400hp and maybe like 600 toruqe. I want to run from 18psi-24psi on turbo. Looking at t3, t4, t5, t6 turbochargers

The turbos should have the limitations and power capacities listed, correct? I would go to a good name brand (garrett, turbonetics etc) and pick something they suggest for your goals. The next thing would be to pick your rods/pistons and compression ratio you plan to run.

On a high-power, turbo motor????

It seems like you really need to learn a lot more about how engines work before you can even think about building the beast you have in mind. Go to college, take the four years to study for your degree, learn about cars in the meantime, then revisit this idea in 2016.

But just to prove I'm not a complete a-hole, if you're dead-set on this idea, here's the specs you'll need for a 4-cylinder turbo engine putting out 800hp (take a look at the compression ratio). There's engine pics elsewhere on the site. This was the engine that BMW built for Formula 1 racing in 1986. But keep in mind, the torque maxes out at 437 lbs at 9600 rpm. This is also in a car that has a weight of 1200lbs, and is designed for sprint races lasting a couple hours, then is disassembled, inspected, and rebuilt.

Hope that finally helps give you an idea of what you're in for, and reinforces what a bunch of us have been telling you from the beginning.

b18c1 trannies have pretty short gears... you'd want something out of an LS (b18a/b) tranny to get low revs on the highway...

I think you'd wanna do it the other way around...

1-3 b16a gears and then LS 4th and 5th.

I kinda want to do an all motor H2B setup and for my transmission I'll be using: b16 1-3, GSR 4th and LS 5th (I might use the GSR 3rd instead, dunno)
