Default 04 LX compression test and spark plug inspection

Just thought I'd post up some of my results today at school.

cyl 1 157 psi
cyl 2155 psi
cyl 3 155 psi
cyl 4 156 psi

Not to bad I think. All the plugs looked darn near new except a little rust (ha) forming around where the ceramic meets the metal, but the tips were just a little grey and all four looked the same.

If I leave this car unmodded and run mobil 1 religiously in it what kind of life can I expect from it?

70,000. bought it with 55000.

I'm assuming normal maintenance like timing belt, plugs, fluids etc.

how about the tranny? It's a 5 speed manual. I'm gonna change the fluid soon here with honda MTF. How about the clutch? I granny shift it to save gas and I don't get on it too hard too often.

it'll last u a very long time so long as u keep up with rutine maintenance. i have a 186k miles on my car, all original motor and trans, original clutch(still great), runs like a champ and i beat on it quite often for about 10 months out ofthe year.

They dont, unless a seal in the engine gets a leak. Then you just change the part, and the car is running like new again
