I recently stopped by the Mazda garage and took a close look at the new Madza 3 with the 2.3 liter engine and 5 speed trannie. Nice ride for sure. I know they do not get anywhere near the mileage of the new Civic's but I was wondering about there power and speed.
How do they compare to an 06-07 Civic if both have 5 speed manuals as far as 0-60 and for driving around town? I would suspect the Mazda 3 has more bottom end torque but does it make it quicker? Anyone drive both or have any information about any road tests?

 

i test drove the mazda 3 and it handled better than the new civics. it also has more room and is comfier.

but since I'm a honda guy and I got my 06 civic ex coupe for $17,500 i stayed true to the honda game.

 

Get the Honda. Hondas are the best!!
