Default 07 EX Coupe Radio question

We are waiting for our 07 Civic to come in and I have a question. I own a Sandisk MP3 player which I connect to my Sony CD player in my truck or into my Goldiwng motorcycle. It plugs in via the jack that connects to the headphone output with a short cable.
Will the MP3 input on the Civic EX Coupe allow me to do the same thing? The plug in is just a simple male prong plug.

I believe it will. It is designed for most any MP3 player. My 06 Coupe has the jack but I don't use it since I have XM radio.
Check it when you get the car and if for some reason it doesn't fit you can always find an adapter.
So what Goldwing do you have?
Here is a picture of mine.

The little 1/8" round plug like for headphones is called a "line in." It is just analog audio at that point so you can connect any source at all, even an old cassette player, etc. Basically you are replacing the earphones with the amplifier and speakers in the car.

I have a 2006 Wing. Bought it in Kentucky and rode it back to Alaska last summer. 4,200 miles in 6 days. Trip was a blast!

mk378, so the Civic does have a input jack for the "line in" ?

Yeah, the jack is just a "Line In" jack. It uses the same type of plug most headphones use. I have a Creative Zen M and plug it into the jack and never have a problem. You just have to get the right connector. Similar to this one, you can find them at Radio Shack, Best Buy, ect:

Question about your A/C units....

Just got my new 07 EX. After the second day in very hot weather I noticed the A/C just could not cool the car. You guys having any problems? It's at the dealer right now getting checked out. I love the car but am dissapointed in this development. Had a 2001 Corolla before this and it froze me out of the car. Been checking lots of forums and this seems to be a very common problem with the 06 and 07's.

Thanks for any feed back!
