as of the 2nd of this month i've had my car, and well im hoping to see if anyone had a few things to let me know i should do to keep my car running in good condition.

only thing i've actually done really is changed my antifreeze with some water.

just a few things guys would be great, i dont wanna be stuck in about 6months on the freeway thats all,lol.

did you get your timing belt and water pump change? oil change? replace cap and rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires. transmission fluid flush/ coolant flush if you want

cap/rotor are the brakes correct?
spark plugs/plug wires im buying soon (before 120k check-up)
trani/coolant flush?

people usually change the water pump while they are changing timing belt since its in the same generalized area, oh and the tensioner as well

cap and rotors is the distributer

tranny and coolant flush basically drain and fill or you can get it flush at a shop basically flushing the system out of old tranny/ coolant fluid and replacing with new ones

also check all your ball joints and tie rods. if any have grease nipples then get a grease gun and fill them up.

what about radiator fluid/oil change etc? aswell?

where are the ball joints and tie rods
and the distributor needs to be replaced?

check them for any rips or tears also check your cv axle boots.

Pull out your Honda Maintenance manual and make sure that everything is at least checked. Replacing the fluids (anti freeze, transmission, etc) is always a good idea when buying a used car. That way you know where you stand. If you don't have the maintenance manual here is the link http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/

A lot of this stuff is easier if you have some place you can put it up on a rack and get under the car and just look around.
