1986 Civic DX
Just obtained a 1986 Civic DX Hatchback that needs a clutch. In checking parts houses online, I'm having trouble determining which clutch kit I need due to confusion in models. Are all DX's in the U.S. hatchbacks? I believe there was a sedan, but parts houses don't seem to differentiate - there's no mention of the hatch, which would have certainly been more common. Can someone confirm that the clutch kit for all the 1.5 L models was the same?
Also, anything out of the ordinary I should be aware of in preparation to doing the clutch? I've done clutches before, but never on a Japanese car - mostly German stuff.
Thanks.

Same clutch for any version with the 1.5 engine. I think it is the same as the 1.3 as well but not sure of that. The 1988 and later with the 1.5 non-CVCC engine are diffrerent.
Clutch is replaced by lowering the transmission out thru the bottom of the car. It's about the same as any other front wheel drive car.
