Post 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback Light Bulb

I dont know what the red light that is constantly on in my car resembles. It is right in front of the stick shift, before the cup holder, about on the center console. It is always on, and idk if it is because one of my doors is open, but after i close all of my doors, and since the hatch doesnt close, I even unplugged the cord going to the lock, and the light stays on. I was wondering if somebody could explain to me what this red light means since it is always on no matter what.

get a picture of it.....
it sounds to me like someone put in a alarm led or maybe a fake alarm led. does it ever go off?
might just have to pull the console out and just trace the wires to where they go, 3 places it could go... first most popular for fake alarms, to the cig lighter. second would be to fuse box. or third for real alarm to the alarms brain.

most real alarm leds will be lit with a door open.

it doesn't sound like factory equipment. take off the console and follow the wires.
