Default 1994 vti

Hey! I've got the opertunity at the moment to buy a 1994 civic vti (I don't know what that translates to in america, but it's the B16 160bhp one). It's a recent import from japan, with a low milage. Just to check im not getting screwed here, what is the equivilent name for this car in Japan?, and does it have the same engine spec as the european/uk/american cars?

At the moment I'm driving a 1999 vti as my daily drive, and i plan to keep it stock (are the two b16 engines the same?). I'd be planning on dropping the 1994 ine a bit, getting some good rubber on it, sticking in a full rollcage and stripping out a reasonable amount of stuff (but keeping it usable day to day). How many people use these as daily drivers, and what goe's wrong with them?

cheers for your time!

The b16 is a well rounded motor, you pretty much can't go wrong with it.

I hate you for even considering having two b16's
