I did replace the head gasket, I was just wondering what the bad one suppose to look like. One thing I didn't replace is the timing belt. The new one did not fit. It is slightly smaller and I couldn't get it to fit. The old one still look decent, I checked it.

I am officially done installing all the parts that I wanted to replace, except for the catalytic converter and the timing belt. The cat I left out cause I don't want to get stop and ticketed and the timing belt did not fit and I felt that the old one was still in good shape by inspecting it. Now all I have to is get the car to start.
I don't know if it was from before I changed the head gasket when I was cleaning out the coolant with water and the water was getting in the engine or something else but I don't feel like engine is cranking, only the alternator. So what gives?

Well, I can't test the sparks right now without someone to turn the key on for me. I do hear the gas pump when I turn the key. Now as for the car turning over, I can't be sure.

what exactly is it doing? have you rechecked all your wires, plugs, grounds, fusues ??

No, the motor doesn't sound like its trying to start, just the alternator that turns.
