Did the air bags deploy?

Are the subframes for the headlights broken? Amazingly the headlights still look OK, but frames may be broken so they can't be aimed.

My guess is that the insurance company will total that. I've seen much less serious damage cause a total (of course it depends on the car value but still). If you think you can fix it, sometimes you can buy it back from the ins. company for a good price.

I also feel that insurance will total it. Given that it's an 02 and that it's gonna need a radiator core support, hood, fenders, headlights, grille, bumper, bumper cover, radiator, maybe condenser... not to mention a little frame work on the driver's side...

You do have the option to buy it back and take it to a couple of body shops for second opinions. It'll be cheaper if you buy the parts yourself at your local Certifit (if there is a local one).

That, or you can buy it back and part it out for more money than you'd expect.

Well im at work and cant see the pictures right now but by the last post that was made by WellFedHobo sound like what was replaced on my car. I hit a trailblazer at 50mph. I have a 2000 honda civic ex. They replaced the core support, straitened the drivers frame rail, raditor, headlights, hood, bumper support, bumper, drivers fender, power steering res, A/C condenser inner fenders and the wiper cowl. The body shop asked if i wanted it totaled and i said go for it. They quoted $6,700 and the insurance copmany said fix it. It has to cost more that 70% of the value of the car to total it out. But like i said i cant see the pics.

The airbags did deploy. i hit the truck going about 25 maybe 30 but the hitch is what went straight through the bumper and pulled it off then the bumper hit the front of my car so im not sure if the frame got bent much yet or not since i have not yet got the car from the towing yard. i will be tomorrow if weather permits. dam snow..

My daughter wrecked our 2001 Civic. It had MUCH less damage than that. One headlight smashed. Hood crumpled. Bumber marked up/scraped. And under the hood the radiator was broken.

It was written off. I tried to fight it...but lost.

Certifit!? You mean sortafit, or Shouldafit? That place and its products are bad. Don't use certifit if you want your car to look clean. Alignment is always off, and you always have to MAKE things fit.
