RE: 2003 Civic LX Break Suggestions?
Here are the Honda OEM part # for a 2003 Civic LX
45022-S5D-H00PAD SET, FRONT $43.28 (includes both sides and pad shims)
I would get WearEver rotors from Advance Auto 2yr warranty(the OE replacement blanks) (if needed) cost about $25 ea.
43153-S5A-A01SHOE, RR. BRAKE $11.74ea -4 req'd (2 on each side) so $46.96, (I do not know why they only sell them separately)
New drum brake hardware is alwaysrecommended when installing new shoes
43367-SH5-003SPRING, Right side. ADJUSTER $2.69
43377-SH5-003SPRING, Left side. ADJUSTER $2.69
43172-S04-003SPRING B$1.15ea - 2 req'd (one on each side) so $2.30
43171-S04-003SPRING A $1.12ea - 2 req'd (one on each side) so $2.24
I would get WearEver Drums from Advance Auto 2yr warranty(OE replacement, nothing fancy)(if needed) cost about $25ea.
*****Are you sure you even need rear brakes?*****
The front/rear braking split for a disc/drum brake system is 80%front and 20% rear,
so you usually wear out the frontsTWICE before rears are needed.
Most likely your rears will just need a "clean & adjust" (i.e. -sprayed with brake cleaner, and then adjusted up to contact the drums)

Raybestos is a great brand, but in my experiencewith aftermarket front pads (including Raybestos) for Hondas, theyare always "too thick" by about 1/8", and you cannot get the caliper over the new pads, so that's why I recommend going OEM.
