Would some parts on a 2 door civic work for a 4 door civic of the same trim (04 ex)? For example some headlights/tailights and some other things?

 

2004-2005 Civic Coupe and Sedan headlights are the same.

2001-2003 headlights are different from 2004-2005 headlights though.



2004-2005 Coupe and Sedan taillights are not interchangeable.

How about some common parts people change? I'm not planning to do much to this car at all, it's my first anyway.

What about little things like carb fib hoods and spoilers.

 

There are tons of parts on a car. You have to ask specifically what you need to know.

I'm gonna warn you now though, there isn't a big selection of parts for 2001-2005 non-Si Civics, at least not compared to Civics of earlier generations.

The fog lights should be the same.

Check out procivic.com. They have a decent selection of parts for pretty much any late-model civic.
