my 6g came stock with a 127hp 1.6. i'm not a big fan of the 7th gens look, but i respect the hell out of your car se7en. plus its good to change things up instead of only seeing 5g's and 6g's being worked on

7th gen Civics are nicer looking and better quality than all previous Civics. They can be made faster, with a little know how. They have nicer interiors and are overall better quality. I'm tired of seeing all the posts ******* the 7th gen. So, since I am just about the only 7th gen on here, this is my retaliation.
Se7en, the only reason I'll give you any credit for any of that is that I know what your car can do (though not first hand). 5th and 6th gen engines are much, MUCH more buildable without serious overhauling or nearly as much money (I know you're not dropping Evo's with a D17...). If this is an idea that still escapes you, you need to expand your knowledge base quite a bit toward the entire decade you seem to have missed; it is commonly known as The 90s, and it saw Honda (as well as other major players like DSM, Nissan, and Toyota to a lesser extent) put forth much of the finest automotive technology to date. Limited market and less internal stability are a couple major hindrances to the 7th gen at this point. As for looks, 7ths aren't even close to as good looking as 4th (hatch only), 5th, and 6th gens. The curves and styling look waaay too awkward, as if trying to push the envelope too much while oversimplifying at the same time, and the ride is higher and cambered frontside. Quality, maybe, but only by a hair (over 5 and 6), and certainly not mechanically.

P.S.: If you're sick of people bashing 7th gens, don't post **** like this.

BTW, I more meant the first post as a joke. I made it overly biased in order to start a flame war. I couldn't care less if you don't like 7th gens. Personally, I love 5th and 6th gens, but I don't like when I see posts like "All 7th gens are slow and gay."

Ok, that makes a lot more sense now. I just didn't catch onto the fact that you were just messing around... And I understand why you would get a little pissed about people talking trash about your car all the time. My bad.

for looks, id like to do up a 7th gen, but for performance, the options are too endless on a 5th or 6th gen. so much of the 7th gen perfomance is trial and error. most of the crazy stuff you do, is (locally) the first time its been done. and i dont have the money to do a trial and error build. i would like to be able to do something like yours, but i couldnt even afford the motor, let alone all the other crap. and if i blew it up, id be sunk. but i wont ever say that ALL of something are slow. theres an old VW truck/car thingy here that would school the crap out of almost everyone on this board.
