Technically, it'll fit alright, but you'll run into problems trying to adapt the obd 1 engine sensors to an obd 2 wiring harness.

It'll work if you use only the block and head assembly. Reuse the manifolds, etc. from your later model car. You can put a VTEC engine in a non-VTEC car, of course the VTEC will not work unless you replace the ECU. If you put a non-VTEC engine into a VTEC car, the CEL will come on when it detects there is no VTEC.

All you have to do is use a obd1 wiring harness and ecu and you should be fine...

Are you just using this as a Daily or what are your intentions for the car?

That's more of a question for an Accord forum, but you can't put a D series tranny onto another series engine. The engine and the transmission would have to go together, and considerable modification would be required. Then you'd have a very slow 1.5 liter Accord.

Keep looking for a Civic. I like the 92 to 95 ones best, they are simpler and lighter than the later ones.
