95 Civic LX Audio

- Hi all,
I just purchased a 95 Civic LX. My question deals with the OE cd player that may have been installed in this vehicle or was an available option for this model year. I purchased with an aftermarket cd - am/fm player and I want to replace it. I have seen a couple of offerings of CD players on Ebay but before I purchase the unit, I want to be certain that it will fit in this Civic physically as well as the wiring harness. Also, I have seen postings related to an activation code of some sort when purchasing a CD player....What is that about?
