Johnny, check the stamp again. If it is a B16, it'll say B16(and then either an "a", or "a3", or "a2" for the most part)

Turbo's don't "blow", but the seals can go bad, causing you to burn/leak a lot of oil.

I bolded, italicized (sp?), and underlined the key phrase.

PSI is irrelevant. A huge HX35 turbo on 5 lbs will make more power than a tiny t25 on 5 lbs, since it forcing more air into the combustion chamber. I believe Reaper stated something about the max. power a B16 can put out on stock internals.

OP, read through the stickies in the Forced Induction section. There's one there that will spell out everything you need and might want when turboing your car.

Yup, PSI is irrelevant. 10psi in a straw is a lot less air than 10psi in a 6" sewer pipe of the same length.

Actually, my estimates were low; I double-checked the Forced induction FAQ and apparently the B-series vtec engines can take about 350whp on the stock internals assuming the tune is good.

Also, turbos can leak, but they can also develop shaft play where the shaft connecting the turbine and compressor wheels becomes loose and the whole assembly has play in it. It makes quite a lot of noise when it happens
