I have a 95 civic coupe and was wondering about the center console from a 96-00 fitting in like ive seen other people do, i want to do the cup holder and coin tray from a 92-95 mercury sable or ford Taurus(i think) in my stock deck spot and want to relocate my deck to a lower spot like the 96-00 civics have with the cigarette lighter spot, does anyone know if this will fit? if it does i will go to the junk yard and buy the parts, thanks

 

I don't believe they're compatible. But there is an optional audio console for that year Civic which relocates the cd player to a lower area. I'd look into that, personally.



You can put the cup holder/coin tray in the upper slot and have the cd player down there.

 

and how much do you think that would cost? i was going to get the stuff from a junk yard and custom fabricate the mounts to make it fit with my welder, it would have cost about 30 dollars

 

If you're good with a welder, go for it. Those consoles cost around $100. The upside is that it'll look super clean and stock.
