ok i just bought a 97' hatch from an elderly lady, with 100,000 miles , garage kept clean as can be , for 3,200 . silver in color . every thing works just like it did from the factory . minus the radio . someone stole it a few years ago and she saidshe didnt need it .
two questions 1. do you think that it was a good buy. 2. i just want to put rims and supension (lower it a little i guess) what kind of suspension and where to buy ... i am a total noobe but can do all the work myself .. just not sure what and where ..

p.s. its gonna be a daily driver so i am not gonna get into the moter just yet.

 

$3,200.....that sounds about right, but i would try to get it a little cheaper.
The radio is no prob because you can pick one up at a junk yeard or ebay kinda cheap.
With the suspension i like Tein or Skunk 2

She was asking $3,500 i talked her down 300. i was the first to look at the car. but there were several that came after me and left their number incase i didnt get the car .
I am going to my research on the suspension ,and gonna go with a after market sound system . I have been looking this site over ,and checking out you guys/gals rides trying to figure what i am going to do to dress the civic up
