Question '97 Civic Si

Alright, I need some opinions. I have a '97 Civic Si. It has good memories in it but also 250000+ miles. I have had it parked for the last two years, just sitting, and giving me those puppy dog eyes every time I see it. The deal is back in 2003 it was my "cool" high school car, now I am a family man. I have a wife, two kids, and the whole sha-bang. The '97 doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore. Well, now I have the itch to start working on it, but I am not sure if it's "worth" it. It's not quiet a money pit, but it needs some serious maint. It comes down to selling a car with good memories, or dropping the cash and fixing it up. At the end of the day, I know the sale value is less then fixing it up, but its hard to let it go. Voices of experience...what do you think? Opinions? Anybody?

Keep it and slowly fix her back up. One day, she just might be your ride again, after the divorce and the wife gets everything. Sorry to sound so cynical, but that's reality.

All kidding aside, I'd keep her. The car, that is.
