Default 99-00 Front Bumper

just a thought :

anybody have any idea why Honda made the "vents" in the bumper fake and not actually have real air vents there?
Like it could have had vents/slits/gaps/openings inbetween in it or something

theres really no point in having the vents... Besides, It's not nearly as bad as the late nineties mustangs that had fake hood scoops and side air dams[:@]

Just fill them with OEM fog lights if you'd like them to serve a purpose

yeah i going to do that, those yellow OEM's look nice.

But i was just thinking that if they were real vents then the engine would have MORE air blowing on it.
And also it would have been a bonus for folks who have the Induction piping and conefilter attached as air would blow on the filter itself.

could always remove the plastic to open them up and put some mesh behind them?

the better question, does the 99-00 bumper fit on a 98?

i hate my flat plain stock bumper

You have to get the Hood, bumper, lights etc to make a 99 fit on a 98

by removing the "vents" you mean cut them out?

As for the 99-00 bumper fitting the 97-98 model, check my attachment i am living proof that it can!
Only changed the bumper and the grille, still has old spec lights but the new spec fits perfectly (had it before).

ugh, I think that's a 96-98 "99-00 Style" bumper. It's not an ACTUAL 99 from bumper. Heres a close up of mine for comparison, you can clearly see the differences..
