99 grille is longer and more sleek, therefore the spaces between the headlight and the grille on the 98s are wider. 99-00 have a different shaped headlight as well (as slight as it may be). I'm not saying they're a night and day difference. I'm just trying to stop you from convincing people that they can just slap a 99-00 bumper onto their 96-98 and everything will line up, cause it wont, end of story
