Default ABS light...

So I was in a mall parking lot and decided to rip on the e brake and spin out just to see what it is like... dumb, I know. But now my ABS light is on and Im not sure if i messed up my brakes or my e brake but if somebody knows what the deal is let me know. Also, a few months ago a mechanic did some work on my civic and said that the brake pads were sticking, i dont know if that could have anyhting to do with it?

As you say, it may be nothing, though sometimes such warning lights signal the beginning of a problem to come. If in the future the ABS light stays ON, then the fault code will be stored in a CPU. Like a CEL code, the ABS code can be retrieved for troubleshooting purposes.

Has it been snowing? You probably got ice jammed in one of the wheel sensors, and it stopped working temporarily, until the ice melted.
