Default AEM V2 Cold Air Intake

anyone experienced or anybody know about the aem v2 C.A.I? should i get it for my D16z6? is it better than the regular v1 C.A.I? so which one and if the V2 is better, where can i get a bypass valve for it to protect my motor from getting damaged by water?

I agree with 94civichatchback. buy a intake off ebay for like 30 bucks shipped. and just buy a good filter. save like 20 bucks lol

the v2 isnt a good idea because it will suk water into the motor, and if you put a bypass valve into it then it will be the same performance as a v1. thats if you must have a aem for some strange reason...

The CAI V2 for this model is around $300 most places and you cannot at the bypass valve to it. If you do get this, avoid driving through large puddles of water.

a intake pipe is an intake pipe doesnt matter what brand, still has the same performance, so the best buck is liek i have said get an intake pipe cheapo and throw away the filter and buy an aem filter or k&n. you will save alot of $$$$$$ and have the same performance. i wouldnt pay 300$ for a intake pipe with a damn aem sticker.
