stuff is so expensive now days...i dunno i counted how much in all i spent on my sound system and with a $800 installation fee, about $3,200....and now that i have a cf trunk, all that dynamat is gone and i payed 110 for that and then about 200 to get that installed.

 

Why do you say that?

 

i used to keep a maintenance log. i recorded everything i did to my civic, and how many miles, the cost. and i wrote down every tank of gas (how many gallons, and how much money)and figured out my gas mileage. this way i could diagnose any problems that were starting to occur.

I keep a folder with everything too. Add pictures of the new goodies before and after install. Not to bad an idea really.

 

I just calculate my mileage every time I'm at the pump via cell phone. If it drops consistently I'll know something's up.

 

yeah, it's not really something unusual to keep reciepts..I keep my gas reciepts, probably will for my parts in the future

I have most of mine, sometimes I get lazy and just thow them up. This year though im planning on buying a book that I write down everything I buy in to show me were all my money is going and such.And how much I spend were.
