should a good tune cost.... ive heard lots of variations from people ive asked on the streets

the guy doing my nitrous said that if i were to get the turbo installed at his shop he'd sell me it with install for 1100... but he said that with the tune would be 2800... does that sound about right??

They most time charge by the hour, around $200 and hour or so for a top notch tuner. Should take around 3 hours total

wow marty thanks for all the help... and ya, after i get the transmission, flywheel, clutch and intake mani, im gonna save up 2 paychecks for turbo.... just get the thing installed by him for 1100, and then take it to get it tuned by someone else, cuz it seems like im paying more for the tune than the turbo....
but would running turbo and nitrous be too harsh on the engine??

I would not advise you to run them both unless you have a built bottom end.

bottom end build will run you around $300-400 for rods, depending on brand, vitara pistons will run around $160 and you still need bearings and a lot of other stuff. building a block isnt something i know a lot about

and the worst part is, you have to remove the engine to build the block. you dont like doing your own install i see so tack on a ton of money for the labor. you looking at probably over a grand for bottem end build MINIMUM. i think lol

this is sovs bottem end build along with some other stuff, he knows what hes doing so check it out to see what you need. https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_334488/tm.htm
