Default B16a2 Craigslist

Wondering if this is a good deal. I have an EK coupe and there is a guy listing this motor with no tranny, linkage, or mount on CL for $750.00. Longblock has 93k on it.

What do you all think?

Sounds ok, but I would look into it a little more. How much stuff will you have to buy in order for the swap to drop in? Are you going to be doing the work, or a shop?

I'm doing the work, figure at best I'd need linkage, motor mounts, ecu, tranny(see em all day long on cl for cheap). My harness should match since its vtec already or am I wrong on that?

Harness is pretty much the same. I have my b16 on Craig's for 1200, mines all polished and painted and I'm asking a little high, but I paid 650 for it in the beginning. I put a new t belt and had to replace a few broken sensors and stuff but that's a good deal for 750. You can use em1 mounts to save money. Most of the plugs are the same for the b16, never looked in to it really but I know the sensors are the same. Dizzy might be the only difference being obd2b. You'll need a linkage and trans and axles, put a clutch in right away. You are obd2a so you'll need an obd2a to obd2b jumper harness and a p2t ecu unless you plan on going to an obd1 ecu. I had most of the stuff to put my b16 I besides a trans but I'm staying single cam. I do have a p2t ecu and obd2a to obd2b jumper harness if interested. Never used the harness and ecu hasn't been opened up ever. $80 each plus shipping.

good to buy from a place to be identified, and kind of risky to buy from a running guy... just a suggestion...
