b18 6 speed

Don't care how many cars were on the road, or what time it was.
Your tires aren't going to hold up to that speed for too long. Hopefully the frame of your car is solid enough to keep you from dying while you flip down the median (ps, its not , so good luck with that!)

Yeah man, not trying to flame you, but if you really are racing on all seasons on the stock wheels then the max they are rated to is probably 120 so thats just asking for a blowout. You want at the very least V-rated (150mph) tires or higher, I know its tempting to go as fast as you can when you have a car that actually has power (I am guilty of 130 myself in a friends WRX on clear/empty/straight highway, but my senses came back before I tried to max it out) but I would not try to convert the transmission just to get over 150mph. Lets be honest, how much time do you see yourself being in excess of 150, does it seem worth the time and money that it will likely take to make a custom 6spd trans? If you can get to 150 then I'm sure its already pretty good at the 1/4 mile and there is no closed circuit or auto-x event that you can go that fast at
