ORIGINAL: Everyday Getaway

ORIGINAL: 95.CiviC.

THe b18 will run you more to install and cost, however the h22 is a lil cheaper it is much harder to find mods for that type of engine, and in the long run the b18 I think would have more fun things that you can fo to it. I would diff go for the B18 I no that I would!
FALSE, the H22 will cost a lot more for installation...

Jetspeed, your sig is freakin' awesome!!!
False, the h22 is cheaper.

It's called an H2B. It's uses a hybrid plate to mate the h22 to any b series tranny. The shorter gearing makes them run something like half a second to a second faster in the quarter. It's cheaper to purchase and install than a b series. The b series motor makes (depending on if you get USDM or JDM) 20-40 hp less than the h motor and like 40 foot pounds more all while weighing less than a hundred pounds more. (less than a passenger). Anyone serious about adding speed through an N/A motor will go with the H unless you're going to seriously build the b series (whatever b it is)

holly sh*t! are you serious??? it has been a while since i've been driving my civic (i blame it all on my new S4)... if there really is a "hybrid plate" or whatever it takes to mate the two that would be very intresting... so intresting it makes me want to get another civic and throw a damn H22 in it..... do you happend to have a link to any pictures/ parts?

So would an H22 with either its tranny or the conversion to the B tranny be a decent DD? Making decent enough numbers for milage? I'm not in a hurry but when the D pukes I'm gonna swap, but it's my DD and I drive enough that I need 30+ mpg still. Is there any chance of getting that kind of power in this car and still getting the mileage?

^^^ read those, they have everything you could ever ask. And yes an h will get over 30 highway i believe. great power and more usable torque curve too.
