what do you guys think is the best security system for a civic (95 civic)...now lets be real about it, dont say an alarm because no one give a **** about them anymore, everyone that hears it just thinks to themselves, that **** better turn that **** off..... i guess the best thing to do would take the ecu with me LMAO.....but does anyone have like a cut off switch for either the fuel or electricity(the ones you hide somewhere in the car).....just give me some ideas.

my viper system has a feature that won't let the car start when it is armed. then when you do try to start it when it is armed chirps for a couple of times to warn you then the full alarm goes off

I'm looking at a Viper 5900 with a 1 mile pager - best dealer installed price of $280.

When I had a 90 Si with a Jacobs High Energy ignition it had a secret kill switch i installed. Saved my car as they stole it but it shut off at a bus stop and got a ticket so that's how I recovered it. And it was on Liability insurance!

Anyone that knows a little about car alarms can bypass them in about 10 seconds, it's really not that hard. The fuel pump cut off isnt a bad idea, and is very cheap....

FYI, the "1 mile" pager does'y really have that far of a range. MAYBE if you have a clear line of sight, but even then, in the real world, it's probably not even that far....
