Depends on if you want to boost or not. I've read and have had friends say the H22 doesn't hold up well to forced induction. Plus its a heavier engine then the B family engines and civics are already front heavy. So unless you only plan on going in strait lines all day, or plan on spending a lot of money on suspension I wouldn't go H22A. B18B built correctly with a B16 VTEC head, or GSR Head, commonly referred to as an LS/VTEC swap. This is the way I would go, or if you don't care to boost go JDM B18C. Although if money is an issue then H22A or B16A is the logical choice.

What about a B20 swap withan LS/VTEC swap done? Is the H22 capable of more torque in a N/A state? I'm looking for torque, i'm not too hung up on HP so much. the hills around here in St. Johns are crazy and i have to rev the hell out of my motor to get up them.
