Hello
I'm looking at buying a civic.
I know the SI is fully loaded.
But the other 3 models, which vary about $2K+ from each one.
What's the biggest differences?
I can't seem to find anything that compares them, including appearance.
I don't really care if there's a difference in motors or horsepower.
Just wondering for luxury items, interior/exterior appearance, etc.
*** I seemed to have found the comparison on Honda's site.
But general appearance, besides wheels, are they the same?

 

for coupes in the newer years, it goes something like this.

SI- manual tranny only. power windows, locks, mirrors. AC standard, manual seat adjust. standard CD player. automatic sunroof. ABS, traction & stability controls standard. (optional upgrades to include performance tires and navigation package). this is a sick car.

EX- manual or automatic tranny. power windows, locks, mirrors. AC standard, manual seat adjust. standard CD player. automatic sunroof. (optional upgrade to EX coupe with navigation package). ABS

LX- comes in manual or automatic. power windows, locks, mirrors. AC standard, manual seat adjust. standard CD player. no sunroof. ABS

DX- comes in manual or automatic. power windows standard. manual door locks and seat adjust. am/fm radio with optional upgrades. no sunroof. AC optional. ABS

You can see the differences in appearance on the Honda website.
When you go to look at the colors,each color is shown 2x, one is EX, one is LX.
EX includes alloy wheels: LX & DX, steel wheels w/covers.
DX does notinclude radio or AC (dealer installed accessories).
EX & LX, body color mirrors: DX, black mirrors.

 

btw, if 2k means nothing to you, do yourself the favor of buying an SI. you won't regret it at all when you're having a great time driving it.
