I live in Alabama, we don't have to worry about anything when it comes to cars...
I just found out bad news. On 7th Gens (and later) there is an Immobilizer Chip in the key, if you change out the ECU, you have to change out the box in the steering column that reads the chip to match the ECU, change out the key slot (for ignition), and then change out the door locks so that you don't have to use 2 different keys. I've determined that I'm just going to change out the block, put my stock head on my new block and run it non-vtec b/c that is waaaay too much work. Damn I hate 7th gens.
