ok on with the problem....i pick up a body kit and im having troble with the front bumper this is the first place i checked (so it might be a stupid question) am i sapose to grinded the renforce bar behind the stock bumper in order to get the aftermarket bumper to fit correctly??

 

I would think that any body kit is supposed to just fit right on without any modification.

 

Are you sure you purchased the correct year, model,and trim (ex: 2001 civic coupe ex)
the number of doors does tend to make a difference

 

yea im 110% sure that everything is ok in that matter ......(year ,model,trim,door..etc)

 

Back when I had my kit, I just had to pull off the bumper, pull the impact foam, and the new bumper fit fine (as far as fiberglass goes)... are you sure it's hitting the frame and not something else?

 

it seems as if it is bring up in the renforced bar and not allowing it to go right into the head lights ..... think im going to leave this one to the pro to solve for me lol .........if anyone got any other info please let me know

 

You listed your car as a 98 si? are you in canada? if so that makes your car an ex
