Default Body work

Hey everyone I'm new to this site and to Honda's. Im 17 and my first car is a 1995 Honda civic EX with a D16z6 5 speed manual. i picked it up for $1600 and 166k miles, the car has no running problems but the body does have a few spots of rust and a dent in the fender. I was thinking about getting the body done after winter, i got quotes and they say its about $3500 i was thinking about doing it but that is more then i expected. is it worth it?

Have you tried other shops? I would call around.

If you have never done body work before, it takes practice to get down correctly. If you do it yourself, expect to see some flaws in the end result unless you are extremely meticulous. I have been playing with Civics for a long time and I have never attempted body since I get lazy halfway through things (check my engine swap in my build thread LOL) and I know it takes a lot of attention to detail to get right.
