Bolt Thread/Lock/Tape stuff???

Whats that white tape called that goes over the bolt but under the nut? You know its there to help keep the nut from coming off? I've tryed searching all kinds of names. Thanks,

thats to seal the connection from leaking, like in gas or water pipes. you should use a thread locker to hold them together.

yeah that's what I was going to say, teflon tape isn't like Loctite or anything, it's "tape" but it's not sticky

Yes, blue for temporary, red for permanent.

it is also available in a glue stick form.
