Default Bosch Oil Filter

Hi.. Sorry for the multiple posts.. but was wondering if a Bosch Oil filter for a 2001 Honda Civic LX is good? I just bought one and wanted to ask for I installed it. it seems tiny. Thanks

If it's made for your application it will be fine, I use fram myself.Lots of others use honda filters, but they cost more and I'm not convinced they are better. Fram has been making filters for many years I'm sure they have it right by now. Honda filters are very small.

i use a honda oil filter always have

i wouldn't worry on a getting a certain brand name oil filter. as long as it does its job of filtering the motor oil.

I run so many miles it's only on the car for a month tops...LOL Cheapie filter.

Thanks for the reply guys.. I ended up getting a purolator oil filter.. I ended up having someone else change my oil as my Civic is lowered and it's nearly imposible to get underneath it..

ummm...my civic was lowered and it never stopped me from using a jack...

fram is absolutely the most terrible oil filter out there. Very cheaply made (cardboard holding the internals together) Stick with WIX or purolator
