Bugs, annoying.......

Bugs, annoying.......
I have a civic 08. Few days ago I had a long trip, and afterward there were many bugs' bodies sticked on the front.
Some bugs even went inside the front and sticked onto a metal filter (at the bottom of the front), however I am not able to clean them even with high pressure of water.
Does anyone have experience about that? Any how should I clean them up?
Many thanks.

Have you tried some good old soap, water and a rag? That typically works just fine for me
Are talking about all of the bugs or just the bugs that are "sticked" on the radiator? If it is those bugs then i have no clue and don't know if they are a problem or not. I know my radiator has plenty of bugs on it but ive never cleaned it other than any water that happens to go through the vent on my front bumper.

Right, those bugs sticked onto the radiator. I am not sure how to get rid of them.
For those who sticked onto the bumper, I already clean them up with high pressure of water.
I read that if those bug's dead bodies stick onto the metal surface for long time, it may gradually corrode the surface......[&:]

I doubt you'll be able to do this but on the semi trucks I work on we use compressed air to blast bugs, dirt, dust and mud outta th radiator (from the back of the rad to the front) You'd be amazed at how much crap is in those things. On my civic tho, every time I visit the wand-wash I take a few seconds to blast at my rad to clear the crap out of it...other then that I don't worry about it too much.

be careful with that "high pressure" water on a brand new car like that, the paint is still somewhat curing, and you can bend the fins on the radiator if you're not careful. and about the radiator with the bug problem. the only solutions are to either paint the radiator black making the bugs less visible, or to just not ride during the night or evening. or you could do like most people and not do anything b/c they'll always be back.

I don't know what to suggest for cleaning. I have a radiator screen behind the grille of my Jeep. It protects the radiator from bugs, rocks, and other debris, while still flowing air through. You could probably make something like this for your Civic.
