first off i now this is a civic forum but i know a lot of you you guys have preludes so i fugures you wouldn't get to mad. well there is a 92 prelude with a jdm h22a that needs a master cylinder and power steering pump, only has 50,000 on the motor, but the body is rusty. $1000 for it. n ow there is another 92 prelude that needs a motor but the body is nice, for only $600. i can swap the motor myself to save that money and install the small parts mentioned above that the first one needed on the motor, so would it be worth it. i dont see many for sale so i dont know what they usally go for in these condictions, thanks for any advice

 

Body work can get pretty expensive. If you can do the engine swap yourself, you would be better off getting the one with the good body

 

well i can do the body work to but should i get both both and put the motor in the good body. i also found out that the one with the good body does not have the four wheel steering and the other one does, i want it but will have to do some research to see how much i will have to swap.

 

well if you buy the one with the good body, you should be able to buy the motor for pretty cheap, or if you buy both, just throw all the good things into one car

 

that or you buy the bad motor good body car and rebuild the motor, whats wrong with it, spin a bearing?
